Habitat: Tropical deciduous thorn-scrub 

Highlight:

  • Plants in flower -18 species: SENECIO TENUFOLIUS, BYTTNERIA HERBACEA, CAPPARIS SEPIARIA, CLEOME MONOPHYLLA, STACHYTARPHETA MUTABILIS, STRIGA ASIATICA
  • Few plants in fruit – PTEROLOBIUM HEXAPETALUM, EHRETIA LAEVIS, ERYTHROXYLUM MONOGYNUM
  • Bird species -33; ORIENTAL HONEY-BUZZARD was being chased by SHIKRA,  TAWNY EAGLE (Pale phase), BONELLI’S EAGLE, CHANGEABLE HAWK-EAGLE, EGYPTIAN VULTURE, BRAHMINY & BLACK KITE
  • Butterfly species -20; COMMON BANDED AWL was in pupa stage, caterpillars of COMMON ROSE & COMMON LEOPARD were also sighted.

Instructions :
                    1. Program is open to all
                    2. Carry sufficient water and snacks for individual requirement
                    3. Take care for Mosquito bite also 
                    4. Please make your own vehicle arrangement to reach the location.  
 
Assembly point : At the entrance where up-hill vehicle road starts to temple (on Uttanahalli road) at 07.00 AM
