Great Backyard Bird Count 2020

The Great Backyard Bird Count- GBBC, is an event observed worldwide, between 14-17th February. These annual snapshots of bird populations help answer a variety of important questions, including how birds are distributed across the country, how they are affected by changes in habitat and weather, and whether populations and distributions might be changing from year to year. every year. There is an increase in number of participants year to year since 2013, when it was introduced in India

In Mysore, a bunch of individuals are leading the GBBC, and invites who are just starting bird-watching or seasoned bird-watchers. The dates and venue are as follows,

14th- Lingambudhi , main entrance

15th- Kukkarahalli kere- main entrance

16th- Thippayana kere

17th – Karanji kere

ಗ್ರೇಟ್ ಬ್ಯಾಕ್ಯಾಡ್ ಬರ್ಡ್ ಕೌಂಟ್ GBBC ಪ್ರಪಂಚಾದ್ಯಂತ ನಡೆಯುವಂತಹ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ. ಪ್ರತಿವರ್ಷ ನಡೆಯುವ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಅನೇಕ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಸಿಗಬಹುದು ಎಂಬ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗೆ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ವಿತರಣೆ, ಹವಾಮಾನ ವೈಪರೀತ್ಯದಿಂದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಪ್ರಭೇದ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಪರಿಣಾಮ, ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ 2013ರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ GBBC ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಜನ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಮೈಸೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ಆಮಂತ್ರಣವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಪಕ್ಷಿವೀಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ವರೆ ಹಾಗೂ ನುರಿತ ಪಕ್ಷಿವೀಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಆಹ್ವಾನವನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಪಕ್ಷಿವೀಕ್ಷಣೆ ವಿವರ ಕೆಳಕಂಡಂತಿದೆ
