Highlight:
- Sighted totally 75 bird species, among them 14 are winter and local migrants
- Observed- Two large groups of SPOT-BILLED PELICANs Pelecanus philippensis (totaling 292) fishing for their off-shoots present in Kukkarahalli, Ranganathittu and Kokkarebellur pelicanry.
- A large congregation of 800+ COMMON COOT Fulica atra were foraging in the lake.
- S/S Sadananda KB, Chandrashekar AP, Sheshagiri BR, Tanuja DH, and Somashekar guided participants on various nature topics like -BIRDS, BUTTERFLIES, MAMMALS, PLANTS, CLIMATE, INVADING SPECIES, FARMING during session.
